Airline miles for cruises?

Hi,

Has anyone discovered a way to trade airline miles for cruises? I have a lot of American Airlines miles, but I do not want to fly long-haul trips anymore. I would rather cruise.

All suggestions are welcome!

Thank you

Although the conversion stinks, you can use Points dot com to move points from one loyalty program to another. There are ways to do it but not good exchange rates. I think the best is to convert AA miles into Hilton Points and then use Hilton points to book with RCI.

For questions like this, it is probably better to go to the experts in Frequent Flyer Miles. That would be Flyertalk or Milepoint, or one of the many blogs that are referenced there.
