2 formal nights on 7 night cruise???

I have been told there will be 2 formal nights on Equinox 7 night cruise at the end of June

 

In my limited cruising experience formal nights are always on "days at sea" and yet we only have one of those during the 7 nights so when will the 2nd formal night be?

Celebrity very often holds formal nights on port days, it is not a hard and fast rule. The usual pattern is day 2 and day 6 but that is not etched in stone, you will not know for certain until you board.

Formal nights aren't always sea days, as you are learning. On your itinerary the first formal night could be either night 2 or 3, the second one would be on the sea day

On our last 8 day cruise the formal nights were the second night and the night before last :)

What about an 11 night cruise?

we also have 2 formal nights somewhere along the line. I called Celebrity and they could not confirm as apparently the Captain has final say!

The girl give me an idea, saying in my itinerary Day 4, and day 10 look favorite, but alot of people are saying the evening of first day at sea is the norm?

I will take a punt on day 10 though to be the 2nd and final formal night, but when is the first? what do you lot reckon?

Yes, the Captain does have final say, but unless something very unusual comes up, night 2, rather than night 4, should be your first Formal Night. That's a great itinerary!
