Bier Garten on Star

Any recent travelers - are there any 'interesting' beers available in the Bier Garten, or just the usual NCL choices? Thinking specifically about the Baltic itinerary..

We loved the Beir Garden on the Star. It was our favorite place to go sit and enjoy the views.

 

As for the beer. One of the bartenders told us that they serve all the regular beers and a local brew. He said the local changed every few weeks. When we were on her in Alaska they had some Alaskan Ale

Thanks - I figured as much. I did like the Alaskan IPA on our Alaska cruise... I'm not a beer snob but just hope there is something a little out of the mainstream for the Baltics.

To answer my own question in case others care, it was Newcastle Brown Ale and Heineken on tap.

Sometimes they have Warsteiner in bottles (called 'wobbly Warsteiner' in the British Army for a reason BTW;)).

 

If I see it I grab a bucket PDQ.:D
