Happy vs Not Happy with assigned cabins

Only once have we been assigned at gty that we did not like. It was assigned three weeks or so prior to departure-on an 8 day Carnival trip.

 

Our TA called Carnival and had us placed back in the 'pool' on the condition that we had to take what we were given on the next round. We got a much better cabin. Not certain how many cruise lines will do this since we have only once been assigned a gty that we did not like.
