My FTTF experience

Our group of four out of San Juan had a bad experience with FTTF. We booked the Captain's Suite (4 women need 2 bathrooms) and when we arrived they couldn't find our S&S cards. After checking us all in, almost 30 minutes had passed. Our cards were in the VIP room. Took them 3 times going back and forth to find them. We boarded later than others that didn't have FTTF. I did like the priority disembark though. Get to set in a lounge by the dining room. If you have a suite beware of FTTF on the Valor. Just not really worth it.

How is it not worth it just because they had a hard time at the port finding your S&S cards? Did you tender? If so, you got priority tender. Were you able to leave your carry on bags in your room as soon as you boarded? Was your luggage delivered to your room early? Did you have to go to Guest Services and use the FTTF line? You mentioned you did get priority disembark. So, because of one thing that was beyond anyone's control it is not worth it?

I understand there are those that think it is not worth the $49, but it seems that you only had one issue and probably enjoyed the rest of the perks.

I simply meant that If you are leaving from San Juan and have a suite, it may not be worth it. Another couple commented having the same experience. If you do not have a suite on this cruise it would be worth it.

Sorry for your experience. Before checking in for the Breeze, I made sure the porters knew we were FTTF, so that they would place the special tags/labels on the luggage, which they did, although on came off and the bag made it to the room later after I went to GS. Upon entering the terminal, and going through security, we went through the priority line, and received a boarding zone sign that said #1 or FTTF. I don't remember which, but after they called Diamond and Platinum, we we're next to board. At GS, the FTTF line was the same as the Diamond/Platinum, which was never crowded compared to the regular GS line. We didn't have any tender ports, but did use it for priority disembarkation. We se our luggage out the night before, went to breakfast the next morning, and upon walking off the elevator to go to the priority/FTTF waiting area, a crew member escorted us from the elevator, to the front of the line to get off the ship.

Just got off the Conquest on Sunday. Travelled with another family. We both bought FTTF and both said it was the best $50 ever spent.

We got to the Port about 10:30 and were on the ship a bit after 11:00. Was nice to drop off all of our carryon's. (there were 8 of us so 8 carryons plus wine and pop)

Our luggage arrived about 1:30 or so and we were able to unpack before the Muster drill, which was nice.

I never really paid attention to how many times in the past we used Guest Services but this trip I think we used it a minimum of 6 times. And each time the line for the other guest was at least 10-20 people deep. That was huge right there.

We had one Tender port in Belize. We weren't doing anything special so waited a bit to get off the ship. Even still they had people waiting in the lounge to get on a Tender. We went right to Guest Services where they walked us down and got in line and right on the Tender.

For us this Perk is awesome and will always try to get it in the future.
