Review: Navigator 6/8/14. Excellent Cruise

Recommended Posts

How much does it cost per person to go to the Sabor???

$25 per person. This is probably more than we would spend at a regular Mexican restaurant, but we thought the experience and the excellent food was worth it.

We've never done self assist but the thought of being in Dallas by 1:30 is a good incentive. We're usually home by 4 - if we're lucky.

We too are D+ and in a JS. Did you have a preference between D Lounge and C Lounge? I hear there is no dedicated Diamond area for breakfast - Mr Wolf is going to miss his eggs benedict but we don't like the drawn out regular breakfast. Are they using the HH vouchers on Nav yet?

Thanks for your review.

We got off the navigator June 1 st. No HH vouchers loaded yet. The lounge was sometimes full and then they extended into the Cosmo lounge a bit.

Sabor was good but do not have the Sangria. It was truly awful with some kind of spicy taste to it. No one at our table finished it.

Izumi was excellent also.

Royal did call everyone before the cruise and asked you to board at times according to your deck or crown and anchor level. Some did this and I think it really helped the congestion at the port. It took along while for us to drop off our bags at the port. After that we parked and walked right on. The line of cars to drop off bags barely moved

Thank you for your well organized review. Because of your suggestion we wil be doing the Playa Mia Deluxe Beach Break.

You are most welcome, really is a little treasure, always a popular one, so make sure you book online well in advance of your sail date .

Enjoy Playa Mia

Happy Days!

Not good Mr wolf missing his Eggs Benedict.:(

We used both D and C lounges, we liked C just as it was close to cabin, but preferred D lounge, more of a selection on drinks and Nik Naks

Disembarkation was a shock to us as well, was plain sailing.. Pardon the pun.

If we had not stopped for coffee and a few rest breaks would of made it back before 1pm

No HH when we were on ship. But C and D lounge has all the drinks we needed for that special price of Free :D

Enjoy your next cruise

Happy Days!

Thank you for your excellent and concise review. We are sailing Navigator soon and were wondering about Giovanni's.

D

IOHO Giovanni's is the best dining on RC.. We are Italian lovers, so could say we are biased, but we are both foodies and service and food were excellent

Highly recommend.

Hey PompeySailor,

It was great to meet you and your family. This is the first meet & mingle we participated in and we meet some really nice people that we got to know throughout the week.

Your review is great, but I will say that MUST eat at Sabor next time you are on the Navigator. This is the first speciality restaurant my husband and I have tried out and it didn't disappoint. The best meal we have ever eaten on a cruise (although we don't have as much experience as you :) ) The made at the table guacamole was excellent and we ate every last bite of the dessert which we though we had no room for. We have never found the desserts in the MDR to be excellent, but this one made up for all of them. We were very hesitant about trying out a Mexican restaurant at sea, much less pay extra for it, but we are so glad we did.

Thanks for the review and happy sailing!

Hi Val & Scott.. Was a shame we just could not fit Sabor in on this cruise, it is definitely on our bucket list..

Was really nice meeting ya'll and glad you had a great cruise.

Might see you again sometime when you are cruising next

All the best

Graham Nikki & Abigail.:)

You can ask for a table for two and be out much quicker and still have the eggs benedict;)
