Enchantment of the Seas ~ June 13th Weekend Bahamas Getaway

Recommended Posts

I'm gonna be in. GS.....so the concierge lounge and diamond lounge is the same or different.? First time in a GS.

The CL and DL are different venues. Those in a GS or better have access to the CL.

Since we didn't arrive into Nassau until Noon, the pool deck was pretty busy. They had a Lunch Poolside with fresh burgers and dogs.

Even the cook was having a blast! All the crew were so enjoyable to be around and always smiling.

So much FOOD!

I've always thought this was such a creative way to use their waste. I've only seen these on the Enchantment and Monarch.

IMG_3385_zps0c143bf1.jpg

And they will put anything in them you want! I believe the cost was $12

They also have the band playing by the pool during the BBQ lunch. They were so great and just like the rest of the crew very friendly.

I absolutely loved all the colored strings.

By now it was getting close to noon and we were pulling into Nassau. I love this port because it offers something for everyone.

I even bought this house while I was there! :)

I'm glad someone likes it, I was starting to get a bit worried...

Be sure to tell your friends to check out my other Enchantment review from Jan 3 day cruise.

Senor Frogs is right outside the pier. If you are looking for a wild time, this is the place to go. I stayed away this time and spent the day at Junkanno Beach.

Every time I sail here on the Enchantment we have always been docked in the first pier, so less walking it great!

She is such a beauty.

Fun review. We like arriving in Nassau also.

Do you have a review of your Brilliance cruise? We'll be on in March.

Hi April,

I didn't do a review on the Brilliance but here is a link to my pictures. She is such a beautiful ship!

Once I got back on board I went into the cabin to shower up for the evening and I have a pleasant surprise from the CD Mitch Merucci. He actually remembered me from my B2B on the Monarch from 2012 and hand wrote a note saying welcome back!

Just another RoyalWOW moment...

Love your review! We are sailing next Monday! Did your room have a pullout sofa bed?

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Forums mobile app

No pull out sofa, but I did enjoy the nice remodel cabins, but still that shower curtain...

Those rooms in the middle that were added during the stretch have shower doors.

Enjoying your review. I went on the Enchantment 3 times this year so far. It is a great ship with many friendly crew members. Thanks for taking the time to write your review and showing us your photos.

Tonight I decided to sit in the overflow diamond lounge, since we were still in port. They had fun cut watermelons and usual snack to munch on. I might mention I didn't have a problem bringing my friend in the area with me, but then again there was only 3-5 people in there a night.

Tonight was formal night, which has always been my favorite evening on the cruise. I love to see everyone dressed up with classical music playing. I am kinda wondering how formal night is going to work on the new quantum of the seas.

I will note that on a three day cruise most people don't wear more than pants/polo & summer dresses. I saw very few people actually dressed "formal"

So I didn't mention I was not assigned a table for the MDR. This has never happened to me before but it was due to booking on such short notice. They were able to get us a table for two right by the window, without any problem.

Okay it's time for some food porn!

I order the filet of beef and asked for it "Raw" and indeed it was! So yummy my friends.

Thanks for the review, Mike!

We are in cabin 7594, do you know if that's a newer room?

Tonight was the pool deck party for our midnight departure out of Nassau. They had the midnight buffet on the pool deck also but we didn't eat, just not enough time! :p

I wish I had come to the pool party in my swim gear because everyone was getting in the hot tubs and jumping in the pools.

New friends at the Oasis Pool Bar! I have never made so many friends on a cruise in my life. Everyone was so friendly and just wanted to have a great time.

To be honest I'm not 100%, but I go by the Oasis bar because that's the "new" part.

I met some friends and went into their cabin which is how I know they have the glass doors vs curtains. I also thought the cabins seemed a bit larger, plus the TV's are on the bathroom wall, giving you more counter space.

We have already made it to day 3 of our cruise, which is the final day. Today was by far my favorite day of the cruise. Coco Cay is my "happy place" because its so relaxing without being all developed like labadee. That's just my thoughts on it, because I know most people like labadee better.

You do have to take a tender boat over which really isn't that bad, unless you go right down when they open.
