Breakaway internet speed

How is the internet speed on the Breakaway? Is the Wi-Fi fast enough to use a tablet or is it faster to use their wired computers?

Just got an email they are charging based upon the number of MB rather than time logged in.

All onboard internet I've used on any ship can only be described as very slow.

The speed on th tablet should be about the same as using their wired computers - slow.

 

Their computers might even be slower, more because of what they may have running in the background, not from actual internet access.

 

Curious about the speed question? Trying do large files or video?

Because you asked about speed, I'll offer that VOIP and streaming video is blocked. If you are just looking for straight data speeds, it can be anywhere from old dial up speeds to slow wireless.
