Majesty of the Seas - Deck 5 or 6?

Just booked a quick weekend cruise on Majesty for September, and booked an outside cabin on deck 5. Wondering if deck 5 or 6 is better. I can change it if necessary. Maybe there really isn't a big difference.

I think I'd avoid deck 6 since it's under the walking/jogging deck. It might be noisy. We had a bad experience with a noisy cabin once and now I try to make sure there are cabins above me.

+1 on deck 5 v 6.

 

Our favorite cabins are 5598 and 5098- and for the most part, all of the cabins up that short hall are nice, thanks to the low traffic. But those two cabins only have one neighbor. The other side is toward the shops, but we've never once heard anything from them.

I would also go for deck 5. With deck 6, you would be getting joggers on your ceiling.
