Hawk7 Posted June 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2014 I want to book a morning flight out of New Orleans. Does anyone know the earliest you can get off the Serenade in the Port of New Orleans?
cotton1965 Posted June 28, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2014 If I remember correctly, I think it is 8 but call royal Caribbean and ask them. It might be even earlier than that. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
PerferWarmWeather Posted June 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2014 We made an 8:20am flight recently. We were booked at 10:15am, but got their early enough to grab the 8:20. People do start lining up early and it was a mess getting off the ship, but quick.

PerferWarmWeather Posted June 28, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 28, 2014 Wow! You got off the Serenade and made it to the New Orleans airport for a 8:20a.m. flight? Everything fell into place. We had the 10:15am, but choose to go early because they had seats. I wouldn't want to book the 8:20am thinking I would make it again.
Beachin2 Posted June 28, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 28, 2014 One of the easiest & fastest debark ports we have experienced. That said, remember that the port is many miles up river. Fog, traffic, barge mishaps, customs, etc. could all play an adverse part in any arrival.
Reijo Posted June 28, 2014 #7 Share Posted June 28, 2014 My husband and I were on Serenade back in February. There is an early roll-off and I believe it starts as early as about 6:30. We left about 7:15AM. That said, if there is any problem with customs it could take longer. That doesn't happen too often but CAN. With my luck, if I had an early flight that would be the time departure would be delayed. I really don't think you would have a problem. Have a great cruise. We loved Serenade and don't miss the Neil Diamond concert if the cruise director does it (I believe his name is Kurt Rush).

Hi, that was John Blair (and his partner and wife Katrina) who was the CD and performed the Neil Diamond tribute you speak of. :) They are off now. .
