Wifi on FOS

I understand there will be a charge for wifi, but wondering how slow it is.

 

We don't plan on using skype or anything like that, but may have to check our email a couple of times during our voyage.

There's wi fi throughout however the best connection is either in somewhere like the Viking Crown or down on deck 2 outside the conference centre, the traditional hotspots.

 

I've no data on speed. Sorry. Just remember it wasn't bad in the above locations.

Very slow in our room on deck 8 last week. Better by the pool...though not great.

Last year it was slow, but ok for a quick e-mail check. I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time on-line though. It is frustrating because I want to go a lot faster than it wants to. Just make sure you follow the log-off instructions so you don't use up all your minutes by mistake.
