Rare VMax1700 Posted July 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2014 Looking at the information on the MIA website, it looks like a taxi from MIA airport to Gallery one, East Sunrise Bvd, Fort Lauderdale, would be around $100. Am I correct? It also looks like a shuttle would not be a lot cheaper and we would have to wait for the van to fill. Its for 2 people in December '14 Is a taxi the way to go? Depends on you really......personally, after waiting for a few minutes I get ansty.....you could ask how long you would have to wait for the shuttle to fill up and then decide.....I would spend the money and grab a cab. JohninDC Posted July 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 3, 2014 Taxi figure is about right. You can check on-line with American Shuttle (MIA) or Go Airport Shuttle (FLL) for quotes, but expect to pay $35-45+ each, so not much less than the taxi. If you are not in a rush and can handle your own bags you can ride to Tri-Rail train from MIA to one of the Fort Lauderdale stations for under $5 each and then cab it from there. You could also look at renting a car one-way from MIA to FLL -- probably your cheapest option if you do not mind doing the driving. Good luck! :)
PR Cruisers Posted July 4, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2014 Renting one way should be cheaper and the drive is easy. The only con is that gallery one parking is $25 plus tax Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
Rare VMax1700 Posted July 5, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted July 5, 2014 Thanks for all the responses. PRCruisers, Thanks for the car rental suggestion, but this is supposed to be a nice vacation, so I don't want to be on the 'wrong side of the road'! Thanks
Marie51 Posted July 5, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 5, 2014 (edited) You can check with the following although I don't know if they service Miami to Ft Lauderdale: http://www.gojiffyjeff.com http://www.johnscarservice.com Assuming you are cruising from Ft lauderdale is it possible to fly there instead of Miami??
