CB is the abbreviation for the Caribbean Princess.

CP here on the Cruise Critic is Coral Princess which came out before the Caribbean Princess

Officially the Coral Princess is the CO.

 

The real CP is the Sea Princess, which was around before either of the other two.

 

The official designators are:-

KP = Crown Princess, as far as I can tell.

I think that California Princess was a wild rumour. The next ship after KP is Emerald Princess, IIRC.

Nah, The Bermuda Star (the crew changed the name on the billboard to "Mud Star" & the Capt. was plastered nightly in the coctail lounge) and the Emerald Isle which was worn for wear and also had a severly bashed in stern on our cruise.

Why not go by callsigns?

 

In that case, Caribbean Princess' callsign is ZCDG8.

 

Yeah that's a lot easier to remember! :p

 

FYI people should know the callsign of the ship they're on even if they're guests.
