globalhoneymooning Posted July 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2014 We will be sailing end of November on NCL Spirit to Canary Islands, Spain and Morocco. Any chance we'd be able to use the pools on sea days near the Canaries/Morocco this time of year? We've done late October cruises around Egypt/Croatia/Greece and had some very warm days but curious what the weather will be like near Canaries end of November. Clarea Posted July 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2014 We've been there a couple of times in mid November, and the temps were around 70 F. One time it got colder in late afternoon and started raining and it would have been uncomfortable being outside then.
LondonTowner Posted July 10, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2014 The Canary Islands have a sub tropical climate with very little difference between summer and winter. It should be warm enough to swimming November. Holidaymakers celebrate Christmas on the beaches of the Canaries.
Plan B Posted August 24, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2014 The sea in the Canarias should be ok for swimming. The pool on the NCL Spirit is heated :)
Elmartellama Posted August 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 26, 2014 The sea temperature in the Canary islands is generally cold, even if they have a warm climate. You can swim in the southern part of the islands mainly. Last year we swam in the south of Lanzarote in late october and it was ok, but not too warm. I think you should have no problems swimming in the pool if it's sunny enough.
