Hot Chocolate

I'm going on the Emerald princess in August, few years ago they used to have Hot Chocolate in the morning up in the buffet but they have stopped this.

I thinking of bring my own hot chocolate sachets but I prefer hot chocolate made from hot milk.

Does anyone know if they do hot milk in the mornings?

They have hot milk for the oatmeal. I would request it.

You can also purchase a coffee card and use it for hot chocolate at the International Cafe/Coffee Bar. My husband really enjoys his chocolate in the morning while I enjoy my coffee. It has a cost though where the hot milk from the buffet doesn't.

On the Golden a few months ago, I often had hot chocolate at dinner, fixed seating, at no charge. Once on this 28 day cruise, we all had to have 'any time seating' and when I requested hot chocolate I was asked for my card. I told the waiter that I had never been charged before, he asked my table number, and a few minutes later my chocolate arrived at no charge.

A few times I made my own in the H. C. from a package provided.

I think you can still get hot chocolate in the dining rooms. Haven't had occasion to request it in the last few years, but I think it is still available there.

Yes, you can still request pots of hot chocolate in the dining room at breakfast.

The hot chocolate served in the dining room, at least a few years ago, was very rich and delicious. It was beyond a guilty pleasure. I am glad to hear it is still being offered, it will probably be my indulgence of choice once or twice on next year's Alaska adventure. :D

Unfortunately mine could not be described like that.
