Suggested arrival time at Port Everglades

Will be leaving on 11/6/2014 (Thursday) on Vision of the Seas. We are Staying @ Embassy Suites on SE 17th Street. We usually cruise out of Baltimore and have always arrived at the port about 10 AM. We are usually checked in and on board by 11. Does a 10 AM arrival seem reasonable for Port Everglades? Also, for those that have stayed at Embassy Suites: do taxis need to be called for service to the port or are they waiting outside (taxi stand) on cruise days?

We always arrive at PE at 11. They usually start boarding just before that unless there are any issues (we've boarded after 2 due to viral cleaning, missing passangers at disembarkation, customs issues). I'm not sure if taxis line up at ES, but there will be so many in the area that one will be dispatched to you very quickly. Yellow Cab is 954-777-7777.

If cabs are not waiting I would ask the front desk to call one for you.

Usually taxis are there but if not just ask the font desk to call one for you but give it 15 minutes.

 

I would get to the pier between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
