Carodd Posted July 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2014 Hello everyone, We are sailing on the Reflection on August 15 out of Rome for our honeymoon and could not be more excited! I just have a quick question regarding the pricing for the salon. I would like to book a couple of blo-outs during the cruise and I was just wondering if anyone has the salon/spa pricing menu as I can not find any info regarding pricing. Also, has anyone ever experience a cruise where specials in the salon were offered? Thanks! Caroline

happycruiser456 Posted August 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2014 Sorry - forgot to add info re offers - there weren't all that many - examples;- Detox package - $480 for a 50 minute Lymphatic massage, a 50 minute Liquid Seaweed wrap and an 80 minute Seaweed Leaf wrap. Mainly the offers relate to package deals rather than reduced price for individual treatments but of course that was then! Have fun! Sally

Was charged over $70, including the basic gratuity. The funniest thing was that all my friends were charged the same, some with short hair, others with long hair, straight, curly, we were all charged the same by different stylists. My daughter was charged over $80 but she has really long hair. One day the stylist decided to give me (without asking) a Kerastase treatment, and was charged over $100. BTW, I'm not complaining, just letting you know what to expect. Another observation, the lady that did my hair usted to work with Steiner, which means that I paid more for the same service. For a wash and blow $60. This is for medium lenght hair. Thick hair or longer hair will cost additional. I was glad that I was able to make reservations for hair appointments prior to my upcoming cruise. Since Canyon Ranch is a new vendor, perhaps they will have hair/nail specials- but never have seen this before with Elemis the old spa vendor. Rare hcat Posted August 5, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 5, 2014 Wow...pricier than I recall for Canyon Ranch on Q M 2.. I usually book a massage on cruises . Would not want deep tissue and not sure what aromathetapy would be like....so I hope they have more choices.. I would enjoy a facial but do not 80 minutes of "total transformation" .....way too long! Guess I will see what is offered onboard....but I would think port day specials should boe offered as the spa is much less busy on those days... any idea if there are spa coupons for Cap Club Elite? You probably will get port specials on facials and messages, but I haven't seen them ever offered for hair and nails. You will probably also get them with you coupons when you board. I can let you know after my cruise which begins on Sunday.

Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app You are correct. I only pay $22. for a wash a blown at home plus a $5 tip, and truthfully since my hairdresser is familiar with my thin hair- she does a much better job. I still like when the spa's hairstylist wash and blow my hair- then of course I make adjustments in my cabin. Yes it is expensive, but that is my massage and I truly enjoy it! Some people spend hundreds of dollars, maybe more in a casino-or purchase "art work" on board, I don't get that. To each his/her own.
