I haven't seen any topics about dinning pictures, I know on Carnivals area there use to be a topics just about dinning such as experiences and pictures of the different kind of food that is offered. We will be traveling on Emerald in a couple of months and this is our first time cruising with Princess and from what I have read so far it is going to be a blast, but I was just wondering about the food:p

OP, I only have one word for you: Dave.

More food porn than necessary, yet I feel compelled to go see Dave's pictures AGAIN week after week. Just click on the Royal Princess , Part 1 and Part 2 Flickr links and prepare to be delighted, enchanted and become a drooling wreck.

Thank you so much for those pictures. They look wonderful and bring back memories but there were dishes that I don't remember so I really appreciate the fact that you've labeled each dish..!! I do love looking at everyone's pictures but at times I can't even guess what the dish IS..even if it looks delicious!

The recent rash of Chocolate Porn from Princess has a lot of people drooling. I was amazed to see that it is going to be offered in MDR. I figured Princess would be making it an upcharge item but it seems it is going to be included.

Drooling! Are those chocolate dessert offered in the MDR? Do we need to pay extra for them! They look darn good!!!

Here's mine, from our July 20 Alaskan cruise on the Grand.

Thank you for recording such gourmet food pix and sharing them!

Question: are we going to get the same level of food if we are on a five day CB cruise? Since more and more review says CB is below average on Princess lines compare with other ships.

The chocolate desserts will be introduced on the Regal when she arrives in FLL this fall and will be rolled out to other Princess ships over the next several months.

Ok I have to say Sherryf you've just made my day. My DH & I will be on the Grand Princess August 24th Alaskan Cruise. Thank you so very much for these lovely pictures.

Now I'm super excited to begin our cruise. Plus, thanks to your Embarkation Lunch Dining Room pictures I plan to order the Salmon :D

Thanks! Best food pix I've seen on the Princess threads!

Wow! Thanks for that, and to everyone else who commented. We were a party of 6, including teen/young adults, with a variety of food preferences. We had fun passing the camera around the table every night. I did miss some dishes but tried to get as many as possible.

Usually when my husband and I cruise without the kids, we end up sitting with strangers at a larger table, and I'm embarrassed to pull out the camera at dinner. It was so much easier to do it this time since our family sat alone each night.

If I ever have the pleasure of dining with you again, I won't be embarrassed about taking photos!

The pleasure was all ours dear and the four cameras hanging around your neck didn't detract from the meal at all.

Just kidding, folks.

We had a lot of fun that week and the temps were so mild I wore shorts all week long.

Sometimes I succeeded in remembering to take photos of the menus (even though glare can be a problem), but it's even harder to remember to take photos of our plates before digging in. I can post a link to my review, but you'll have to scroll through to find the photos of food.

You can also try a search on the word "dining" (not "dinning") to see if you can find photos (look for the threads marked with a paper clip, I think).
