parking at Houston port

Hopefully we'll take the Emerald on the Dec. 7 departure out of Houston. We'll drive to Houston. Is the cruise parking facility difficult to find? We've parked and sailed out of Galveston many times, but this will be our first time out of Houston. I appreciate any info. Thanks.

Be sure to reserve your parking early. It often sold out with only one ship in port:

Here's the address. Map quest it for directions:

4700 Cruise Road, Pasadena, Texas 77586

This should help in mapping where to exit I-45 to the terminal.

From I-45, Exit 25 Nasa Road One

Follow Nasa Road One past the Johnson Space Center to Hwy 146

Go left onto Hwy 146 to Port Road exit

Follow Port Road to the end and the cruise terminal will be on your left

Do we need to cover our car? The cruise port offers car covers for $10, are they necessary, is there that much dust/debris in the area where the cruise port is located? We sail Sunday 12/13.

No you do not need covers. The Terminal, and its parking lot, is in a remote area (double edged sword as many have discovered) so there is little reason to cover your vehicle. We plan to be on the same sailing and will be driving to the Port also (and have not purchased a car cover).
