Ken at the beach Posted August 16, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 16, 2014 Ok I thought 799 was good I'll go back to my corner now Sent from my iPhone using Forums I was happy the day before when I initially booked inside cabins at $749pp for that week. I went on the next day looking to see how much it would cost to upgrade to better rooms when I found the deal. Last year on Liberty 5 night Christmas cruise I was able to get insides at $499pp. In 2012 we had Oceanview cabins on the Monarch for the 4 day Christmas and New Years cruises at $249pp and the 3 day in between at $149pp. In total it was $647pp for 11 days. scorpluvsdolphins Posted August 17, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted August 17, 2014 So $1699 total pp including grats for a JS Aft is crazy????? I have until 9/21 to decide whether to move it. Except for the crazy 2 hour miss pricing, has anyone seen JS's go for less on a 7 night cruise after final payment? Bob o Bob or Lee????? Anyone book a Christmas 7 night cruise JS for less than $1699 per person? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Anyone book a Christmas 7 night cruise JS for less than $1699 per person? Sent from my iPhone using Forums I think that the $1699 is a good price for a JS over Christmas if it is a 7 day cruise. Last year on the Freedom the lowest a JS went for that week was $1999. What ship are you looking at?
molly361 Posted August 17, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 17, 2014 I agree with Ken (and also got the FOS D2 for this X-Mas at $369pp:)) $1699 does not sound bad for Christmas. Also would like to know what ship. If it is the FOS, last year 's price that Ken quoted above was for Western which is usually even a bit less than the Eastern which the FOS is doing this Christmas
scorpluvsdolphins Posted August 17, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted August 17, 2014 It's the Vision out of Tampa. I'm going on that one because I don't have to pay for parking and I will be scuba diving. Just want people to chime in about what they have paid for a Junior Suite at Christmas for a 7 night Carribean cruise. Thanks for replying. Ken at the beach Posted August 17, 2014 #9 Share Posted August 17, 2014 It's the Vision out of Tampa. I'm going on that one because I don't have to pay for parking and I will be scuba diving. Just want people to chime in about what they have paid for a Junior Suite at Christmas for a 7 night Carribean cruise. Thanks for replying. Sent from my iPhone using Forums Last year on Vision the JS's were pretty consistently priced all year for $1749 to $1999. In November they dropped to $1699. December 12 to 14 they dropped to $799 There was a guarantee rate of $1099 from December 11 to 20'th. The Vision would be one of the cheaper priced ships out there for JS pricing. The price you gave sounds fair, you never know if the prices will drop like they did last year but if you are willing to take a chance on a last minute sale as you said you could drive then you could potentially get some big savings. I have found that the Christmas roll calls are very quiet as there are not many CC members taking the Christmas cruises and especially in JS's. That would be why you have limited responses.
