Epic Hotel (pre-cruise) thru RCCL

Has anyone booked a pre-cruise room at the Epic Hotel in Miami using RCCL's specialists? Are there any tips in booking thru them and using their free shuttle from the hotel to Port Everglades?

It's a beautiful hotel located in the financial district of Miami. Great pool with nice outdoor bars and restaurants within the hotel. I doubt they offer shuttle to port Everglades, but I'm sure they can arrange a car for you. This is one of the more high end hotels, so isn't your typical pre-cruise "package" for cruise guests. Is a great hotel with stunning views - I highly recommend it.

The Epic is a Kimpton Hotel and is a great property. If you are just staying overnight, the location is fine. But if you want to experience Miami, I would do a South Beach hotel. Surprised to hear they would do a free shuttle to Port Everglades since Fort Lauderdale is 30 miles away. Personally, if you are sailing from Port Everglades, I would be considering a Fort Lauderdale hotel, especially if it's truly just a place to rest the night before.

Thank you for the answers! Called them this morning as I thought yesterday's deal was too good to be true. Yesterday, a lady from RCCL quoted $120 for the room with free transfers to Port Everglades. Today, a guy said it was $120 per person and no transfers. We are a family of 5.

Rooms are very expensive around Ft Lauderdale and Hollywood due to the boat show. We're probably going to stick with the Westin Diplomat.
