RMS Olympic Posted August 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2014 Hi MSC! I am interested in the stretch and modification to the Lirica class ships. In fact I am considering the Armonia for a med cruise next year. Can you please provide details on how the public rooms will be modified as I had read there will be major changes to bring her up to fleet standards. I saw how Costa rebuilt the Romantica making her absolutely breathtaking.....will MSC improve the Armonia to that standard? If so I am ready to book. If anyone has any updated info, please advise.....if MSC reads this, can you provide a time line when rebuild updates will be published......or maybe some video on youtube. Thanks Tom

Thanks Tom Hi Tom, MSC Armonia will be undergoing it's stretching from August 31 to November 17 of this year. The Renaissance project includes adding exciting new entertainment options, technological advancements, extended shops, and nearly 200 new cabins. Highlights of the updated ships include a completely new spray park, with an exhilarating pathway of water features and water cannons and enhanced onboard boutiques with new interiors, more space and an all-new perfumery with display corners dedicated to leading brands, such as Dior, Lancôme and Dolce & Gabbana. papcx Posted August 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2014 Hi Tom. Not sure what fleet standards are, but the Armonia is already a classy, if slightly older lady. If you want good service, by good crew members book her. If you want pre & post cruise shore side customer service book with someone else.

Plan B Posted August 23, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Just about to book this ship for next Easter. Does anyone know if the deck plan on MSC website show the new layout? Mainly thinking of the cabins - will the cabins have different numbers? Thanks

Mainly thinking of the cabins - will the cabins have different numbers? Thanks Afraid it doesn't. I don't think they've released the plans, yet. On the website it indicates deck plans from winter 2014 but that's just to indicate the new "Experience" pricings Deck Plan - until November 2014 Deck Plan - starting from Winter 2014-2015

Plan B Posted August 26, 2014 #11 Share Posted August 26, 2014 Thanks for the replies. If you go on the MSC website and go through the booking process, the new layout is shown clearly but only the cabins - no other areas.
