lovecruzin Posted August 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Hi! We're flying PIT to EWR on 10/25 to board Celebrity Summit. There are 2 non stop flights I am considering. One arrives at 9am the other 11am. 9am seems early, I'm not used to flying in the day of the cruise so I don't know if 11am would be too rushed. Locals and those who have done this, which flight would you book? Thanks!

Thanks! Never a good idea to fly in the day of the cruise as others will tell you, but, I would say take the earliest possible, the 9:00 am. By the time you get your luggage and head to the pier it will be around 10 am, you can check it and beat the rush. Have a great cruise on the Summit, she's a beautiful ship. lovecruzin Posted August 23, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted August 23, 2014 I agree Jonathan, 20 plus cruises and we've never flown in the day of. We are attending a wedding in PIT on the 18th so we don't have a choice this time! But at least were paying the extra to fly direct! Thanks for recommending the 9am, I kinda figured that would be the best idea!
