JABrown104 Posted August 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2014 I have never sailed RCI before, and am considering it. Only ever sailed carnival. With carnival if you book early and your price drops, they will give you onboard credit. Does RCI offer something like this?

Royal will give you a price drop (with certain exceptions) before final payment date. After final payment date, no credit of any kind. cb at sea Posted August 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 23, 2014 True, but RCI doesn't make you wait to board..it's pretty much 1st come, 1st served, as far as boarding goes!

On the 5 RCI cruises we have sailed. The order to board was B2B passengers. Suites Pinacle Then down the C & A ladder. Never saw it done by "First come First serve" Safe travels. Gayle V Posted August 23, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 23, 2014 (edited) Odd. It has always been first come, first served, on all our RCI cruises. I have heard mention of assigned boarding order/times being done in European embarkations. Don't know if it's true or not.
