Panama canal weather in Nov.

I would appreciate hearing your experiences with weather mid Nov. Realize it is rainy season. Any chance of hurricanes?

We went in November 2012. No hurricanes but plenty of rain. If I were to do the Panama Canal again I would avoid November.

We've been there in Nov & got wet and in Mar/April & got only a little wet. :p They get a lot of rain no matter when you go.

Panama is a bit south for the "hurricane belt"....doesn't mean there can't be one, but it's rare! It's HOT and HUMID all year long.

Yup. Hot and humid no matter what time of the year. Lots and lots of rain which is why the Canal is able to operate.

We've been on five full transits in the Jan/Feb time frame and rain was never a problem but it was always very hot & humid. :)
