bengem Posted September 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Hi first time ever cruising with P & O and wondered if they supply bathrobes. We have always cruised with another Carnival Corp line (due to family member working for them) and have always had them supplied. Due to baggage allowance it would be handy not to have to take one.:)
the english lady Posted September 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2014 You only get bathrobes if you are in deluxe balcony (I think) or mini suite/suite cabins with pando. sorry. you can buy them onboard for £
bengem Posted September 4, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Thank you think I'll be taking my own. Just thought I might be able to save some luggage weight.
jeanlyon Posted September 4, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Why would you need a bathrobe. I get in the shower, shower, get out and get dressed? Am I missing something here?

AEckhardt Posted September 4, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Isn't that what towels are for?
the english lady Posted September 5, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 5, 2014 I have cotton kaftans I always take with me. Sometimes it is nice just to waft around the cabin for a while after bath/shower, until I get dressed. Something for the early morning-if you have room service brekie-you don't get dressed to let them into the cabin.

spideygirl Posted September 5, 2014 #9 Share Posted September 5, 2014 On our last cruise with Carnival we had robes in our cabin. It was lovely to put on in the morning and go out on the balcony.
bengem Posted September 5, 2014 Author #10 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Thank you, that is exactly why I was asking. We have always cruised with Carnival and been supplied with a bathrobe and as you say it was lovely to wear to sit on the balcony. Didn't think anyone would query why I want to know though as the second poster did. Still I have my answer and will take my own. Can't sit on the balcony naked everyone would abandon ship lol. Elviex Posted September 5, 2014 #12 Share Posted September 5, 2014 I always wear a bathrobe, and take my own if not provided. We fly a lot so I take lightweight cotton ones. Everyone is different!! Sent from my iPad using Forums
jeanlyon Posted September 5, 2014 #13 Share Posted September 5, 2014 (edited) Sorry, I don't even use one at home, so that's why I asked. Don't book balconies, so I guess that's why I don't miss one. Hope they don't give me slippers now we're Mediterranean, don't ever wear those either! LOL Edited September 5, 2014 by jeanlyon
