Ooooooooooooo--I have the same question. I bought a white zip-up cardigan with a colar and that was all I planned on bringing in regard to something for when it's cooler at night. I'm eager for the replies here. Very good question. icon_smile.gif

Hi..I was in the Caribbean in January....the coldest it got was when we were in Key West...during the day..I had to go back to the ship and change from shorts to long pants and put a jacket on (a soft cotton one). Did the trickicon_smile.gif.

But the Caribbean was ALWAYS warmicon_smile.gif...April should be even warmer than Janaury!! On the ship...depending on my dinner outfit..some were long sleeves, some were not..but I always put an extra cardigan in anyway! The one evening it might have been chilly was when they had the buffet out at the pool....

(That was midnight).

Just off of our most recent cruise a couple of weeks ago, and we cruise at least 2 to 30 times a year. icon_wink.gif That being said, I typically take a sweater for the evening hours. At times, I find the dining room and the show lounges to be a tad bit cool. But then again, there's DH to snuggle up to! icon_wink.gif

Is that a typo??? Or did you mean you cruise 2 to 30 times a year? If so, you are one lucky lady. Sissy

Thanks for the replys re:sweaters. I packed two light weight cardigans. We leave next Saturday on the Veendam.Have read comments about the staterooms being too hot and too cold. I am 50 and use to being "too hot" and "too cold" so now I can take it off or put it on! icon_rolleyes.gif

Back in December we cruised Inspiration. Two days before we left we checked the weather in Belize, Cozumel and Cancun. They were all hitting around 85-90. So I packed mostly shorts with a couple of pairs of slacks for dinner. A cold front came through and except for Cancun it never got over 70 the whole week.

I had brought a medium weight jacket as we had flew from Atlanta and believe me I WORE THAT JACKET-I was wishing I had packed more slacks-at least the ship had a laundry so I was able to wash things so I did not freeze to death.

Anyway that was UNUSUAL for the carribbean but my point is-weather can't be predicted. So bring your jacket and make sure you have a couple of pairs of slacks just in case.
