afcruiser Posted September 26, 2014 #304 Share Posted September 26, 2014 :p Hello Jeff Well Grandson finally arrived. He's perfect and Oh So Cute. Mommy and Daddy R doing great. My son said yesterday, "Mom, I'm going to save our tax refund this year for a cruise." :p Thanks for the pic's of the Steakhouse. Your steak looked like a ROAST. And Patti's Lobster made my mouth water. Can you a surf and turf with both?? Looking forward to the rest of Grand Turk. Can you pre-rent a cabana? Have not checked anything out. Looks like a great place to hang for the day and relax. I'm sure it livened up a bit as the day rolled on. :p I am Patient..;)

Glad everyone is doing fine. The Steakhouse does offer a Surf & Turf. Yes, you can rent a cabana at Grand Turk in advance via the shore excursion page. Unlike HMC where you pick your cabana once you board the ship, you can't select the cabana you want, until you reach the island. There are only 10 cabanas, and if there are two ships in port the day you are there, each ship will only be allotted 5.
Etchdreams Posted September 26, 2014 #306 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Here’s a couple of empty beach views. The beach won’t be empty for long….. No more time for pictures, as I make my way through the Cruise Center, and then to Margaritaville to check in for my cabana. Once there, I meet Ricardo, who remembers me from a previous visit, and escorts me to our cabana. As always I chose # 9….. Ricardo was going to be our server for today, so I had to give him my sail & sign card, which he will hold hostage until I pay my food and beverage bill. This is their way of making sure I don’t skip out on the bill. No pay, no sail & sign card, no getting back on the ship! I sent Ricardo off to the bar to get me a bucket of Landshark’s, so I used the time to take some pictures of what only a few people ever see, an empty Margaritaville. First though, are cabanas 9,8, & 7….. Cabanas 9 & 10….. The empty pool….. To be continued….. We have on rented for our Dec. trip. Was wondering about the sign-n-sail card that you give them. Are the items charged to your sign and sail or do you pay cash when you are thru. We will have other people with us, and was wondering how it worked if others ordered something. Thanks
cruisinbabs Posted September 26, 2014 #307 Share Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) It's not so hard. Step 1 - Go to the first page of the review you want to link to, highlight the url address, then right click and copy. Step 2 - Go to your user cp, edit signature, then place the cursor where you want the link to show. Step 3 - Click on the insert link icon above. right click in the box and click paste. your url address should now be in the box. click ok. Step 4 - A line of text will now be where you had the cursor, and a section will be highlighted. Begin typing in your title and it will replace what was highlighted. Step 5 - Once done, highlight the whole text, then adjust your font, size, color, etc to what you want it to be. You are done. Have fun!! Carnival Pride - July 27, 2014 - Photo Review I tried doing that on my link.. could not get it to work.. maybe it was operator error.. hahah.. LOVING YOUR REVIEWS JAMMAN!!!! Rare Jamman54 Posted September 27, 2014 Author #315 Share Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) At this point I went back to the cabana to find that Ricardo had delivered my bucket of Landsharks, so I poured one into a cup and made my way into the pool. Meanwhile, back on the ship, Patti had finished sending the laundry out. I think that this is her favorite perk. She loves not having to do a dozen loads of wash when we get home. That being done, she grabbed the other camera, and took a couple of pictures from the not so “secret” deck. The Grand Turk Cruise Center….. The bow of the Carnival Splendor, now docked across the pier from us….. She got a hold of Ryan, and the two of them proceeded ashore….. Views of the Carnival Splendor’s and the Carnival Liberty’s bows….. The Carnival Splendor, and Carnival Liberty, docked in Grand Turk….. To be continued….. Rare Jamman54 Posted September 27, 2014 Author #318 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Ryan and Patti have made it to the cabana….. Taking a look inside…. Air conditioned, with nice comfy cushioned couches, and a large coffee table….. Single cushioned chair and condiment table….. My bucket of Landsharks is getting low. I’ll need to call Ricardo and order another one….. This is our view from our covered deck….. To be continued…..
Rare Jamman54 Posted September 27, 2014 Author #319 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Ryan and Patti are cooling off for a bit….. They are getting thirsty, so Ryan is checking out the menu…. Ricardo comes and takes our drink orders, so I decide to take a quick dip in the ocean, taking the water camera along. Here’s a picture of the bow of the Carnival Liberty and passengers on the pier….. I tried taking some underwater shots of some fish that I could see, but I couldn’t capture any good ones. Here’s a view of the beach….. Another view of the Carnival Liberty. It seems so strange to be swimming so close to the ship….. To be continued….. Rare Jamman54 Posted September 27, 2014 Author #320 Share Posted September 27, 2014 I got back to the cabana just as Ricardo delivered the drinks. Here’s Ricardo and Ryan….. Ryan has his drink….. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere….. Ricardo asks us if we would like to order lunch, and when we would like to have it. I thought that was a nice touch. We ordered, and told him to bring it in about an hour. No problem mon!! So while Ryan and I lounge around the cabana and the pool, Patti, as she so often does, grabs the camera and takes a stroll. The Carnival Liberty and Carnival Splendor, tower over Margaritaville….. The grounds and walkways are beautifully maintained….. To be continued….. Rare Jamman54 Posted September 27, 2014 Author #325 Share Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) After lunch, we decided to take a dip in the pool and the ocean, so Patti brought the water camera along. Here’s the Flowrider in action. Ryan had been booked to do this, as he always does, but because of the injuries suffered in Nassau, had to cancel….. The Pool Bar is a little busier now….. That’s me and the Carnival Liberty….. I took this one of Patti and the Carnival Liberty…. Once I gave her back the camera, she immediately wandered off down the beach. Lol. The Crew Bar and the Casino were both closed….. To be continued….. Edited September 27, 2014 by Jamman54
