Well, after half hour of searching, I finally found the information for luggage valet services for Celebrity. FYI, its under the "Before You Go" tab...

Unfortunately, its limited information. Can someone tell me where/when you sign up for this? Looks like we just make the departure time from FLL (11:40 am) on Southwest but can't find how to make ressies. TIA.:(

You sign up on the ship, if it is offered on your cruise.

You should know that not all airlines participate, and even when they do participate, it might not be so on your cruise.

As you already know, there are time constraints limiting what time your flight must be to qualify.

A minimum number of people must sign up, and even then, you may get kicked out by the TSA for whatever reason, never disclosed.

If all the stars align and you get to use Luggage Valet, you will find that it is a terrific service, and a bargain.

I've attached a luggage valet sign up form from a cruise from FLL about 18 months ago. It is the form used on board to sign up for this and has all the info on it. Since it is older things might have changed but I'd guess they haven't changed much.

A few years ago they changed the luggage valet program a bit in a way that could be good or bad depending on your packing and needs.

Years ago you had to claim your bags in the terminal, take them through customs, and then deposit them at a special area just outside customs. The negative was that you had to get off the ship with the first few disembarkation groups even if you had a late flight and you still had do deal with finding your luggage in the cruise terminal and getting through customs with it. The positive was that this gave you a chance to add any bags that you needed to keep with you for your final nights needs on board (like PJ's, toiletries, last night's clothing, etc) to the checked items. This made it much more convenient for those times when we've had a late flight and wanted to spend some time around the port city before heading to the airport. It also meant we didn't have to worry about items needed the last night which couldn't be carried past airport security such as toiletries in containers over 3oz.

Several years ago they changed the program so that the bags now go straight to the airport so you don't see them after you put them outside of your door the last evening of the cruise. As a result if you have a suitcase you need to keep with you that night, for the items you'll need that night and in the morning, then you'll have to carry it with you off the ship, to the airport and any other place you head to before heading to the airport. You'll then need to either check it yourself at the airport or carry it in the plane.
