I'm on the ship. They did say it was a medical emergency. Looking at the dock, the ambulance is waiting for us to dock.

That's true. 2nd trip out of Galveston and second delay. But it is for a good reason. They took off one lady in a wheelchair to the ambulance. Her party left also. Prayers going out to her and her family. Rumors abound, but I won't pass them on unless crew verifies, which I doubt they will.

Just have to say I appreciate your attitude. :) Even though we all wish our vacations would go perfectly according to plan, there are definitely things that are more important.

Several years ago, we had a massive fog delay. Didn't leave port until 1-2:00 a.m. Still made all of our ports on time. Prayers to the family and hope the lady is ok. Hope everyone has the same attitude as the above poster.

I've been on a fog cruise that left about 6am Monday. We made our first port about an hour late.
