Can FTTF give us priority to leave ship to ports?

Does it really work even at tender ports? I don't see how you could claw your way to the front of the tender line down 3 decks and all the way from mid-ship to the bow even if you do have a little sticker on your S&S card without getting lynched.

Actually, yes. You go to guest services. They had a nice area for us to sit and wait for the next tender. Then they escort the group down and right on to the tender boat. There was no issue with dirty looks.

Would you say it's worth it? I'm on the Nov 1 Victory to Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman. I plan on getting off at Grand cayman, so first to tender....worth it?

It depends on how much you value your time. If you're in a stateroom with 5 guests, it can be as little as $10 per person. With FTTF, you receive priority embarkation, priority disembarkation, priority luggage delivery, stateroom being ready when you board, priority line at Guest Services and priority ship to shore tendering. If you think that is worth $50 per stateroom, go for it.

Easy. Go to the Guest Services desk and say you want to be on the next tender. They'll escort you down. Problem solved. Of course, you can always try flashing your FTTF sticker or Platinum card. Just take an elevator down and prevent the door from closing until the line starts moving a bit...

You don't have to claw yourself anywhere. On the Glory @ GC, FTTF met at the GS desk and we were escorted down to the front of the line on the first tender. Worked great.

I just used FTTF on the Pride. It is definitely worth the $50.00.

(1) Bypassed the security line in Baltimore. Instead of being the 100th person in line I was the 5th.

(2) Priority check-in

(3) Among first to board. We were able to take our bags to the room and hit the Lido deck buffet before it started to get crowded

(4) We were on one of the first tenders to Half Moon Cay. We got our choice of seats on the beach and had the water to ourselves for 20-30 minutes before everyone else started to arrive.

(5) We had a separate waiting area to disembark. We were allowed to leave while self-assist passengers were still leaving.

I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Thanks, you're absolutely correct about the per person cost being worth it. For us, it comes out to about $16 per person, and I think that's not bad.

Now I need to persuade the rest of the people in our party in the other rooms.

It shows as available, that's how I came across it:

If you click Add to Cart, it will show how many are available. If you're even considering it now... get it. You're a month away from sailing and it will sell out fast. You can always cancel it if you decide you're no longer interested.

Ah, I didn't know it was refundable. Thanks for that, it shows 13 remaining.

They release FTTF in groups once Carnival has handle on how many Diamond/Plat's they have. The is a limit on the total of the three groups but they can release more as they get closer to the sail date. I've seen them availalbe months in advance, right after final payment and a week before sail. Sometimes I just saw them once (July 4th 4 day holiday sailing full ship).

I've gotten twice before and now for the third time (first time to tender). DW and I both feel it is worth it.

FWIW

I don't see how they limit it based on how many Platinum and Diamond guests are onboard. On the Sunshine TA, where most of the guests are Platinum/Diamond, they added the same group of 15 as the sail date was approaching.

Just FYI......on the return tender you are on your own......no priority there

Depending on the time you return, you may literally be "on your own". Last June, came back from HMC at about 1 pm and literally my wife, son and myself (along with the tender crew of course) were the only ones on the tender.
