kevinyork Posted September 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2014 Do they have fun fares on the Southampton to Heathrow route? Our friends go them from London to Dover so just curious Thanks Lyn Routes into/out of Heathrow dont tend to get the special offer rates that crop up from time to time. Its also a fairly lenghty journey that would involve a taxi from the coach station at the Southampton end. There are coaches to the cruise terminal that are even more expensive and a pre booked taxi would be more convenient and about the same price. Thanks We are going from Southampton to LHR We may walk from the Premier Inn to the coach station or just get a taxi depending on the day ;) I just wondered if it was worth watching for Fun Fares so you answered that question Lyn Edited September 16, 2014 by LHT28
sddsddean Posted September 16, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2014 If you are at the Premier Inn, you can walk (with rolling luggage) to the coach station in under 5 mins. https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Harbour+Parade&daddr=Harbour+Parade&hl=en&ll=50.903818,-1.406465&spn=0.008065,0.018861&sll=50.903818,-1.406465&sspn=0.008065,0.018861&geocode=FVSyCAMd0oLq_w%3BFazCCAMdmH_q_w&t=h&dirflg=w&mra=dme&mrsp=0&sz=16&z=16 A is the PI, B the coach station As kevin says, fun fares don't often come up to LHR, but they do, so keep an eye out. Should be around £18 without a funfare, which is still pretty cheap! Simon
