Also, can anyone tell me if the new menu just adds to the already existing items, or replaces some of them?

Everything was added. A number of new, everyday items, plus one special item per day. Quite nice really.

Happy sailing,

Jenna

sailing on the reflection in december. heard that bistro is the best place for lunch on embarkation day. so for $5 each we get what??? i do love savory crepes:)

You can have whatever is in the menu for $7 (see title of the thread). 5 is the deck it is on, not the price. What is on the menu may change, but currently it is crepes (savory and dessert) and paninis except on Summit.

Happy,

Jenna

Unfortunately sis and I had a bad experience with food and wait times in Bistro on Five - Granted it was embarkation day and the waiters were stretched thin.

Our food was cold. We had waited so long it just wasn't worth sending it back since dinner was nary a couple of hours away. Oh yes, we found something to eat, now that's never a problem on a cruise.

I was given a coupon as a birthday surprise to eat in Bistro which went unused. Won't be eating there in the future.

Few would say service is speedy at Bistro on 5. Food is far from gourmet, but usually decent. Sorry yours was not.

Happy sailing,

Hi Everyone,

Add me to the list of Bistro on Five fans. We think it's a nice place to have an enjoyable, waiter/waitress service meal - while getting away from the crowds, especially on Embarkation day, when the buffet is a zoo :)

I hope they offer the expanded menu, when we sail on Eclipse next month. Would love to try the new menu items !
