Has anyone used the service of groundlink offered by Ncl in New York . From Secaucus New Jersey to the pier ?

How was the service ?

Is There any extra charge for going interstate ?

We always use these guys, only because DH's company uses them - certainly not the cheapest though

I have used a similar service a couple of year ago , was not to impress , the car was an older model no idendification on or inside the vehicle , the meter ,ac and all window were not working driver insisted on a flat fee of $130.00 cash only . the driver showed up at the hotel at 1.00pm and ship was leaving at 4.00pm . we made it in time

Hi. Take a taxi to the Weehawkin waterway ferry terminal and it will leave you a few blocks from the pier. You can walk from there. Good luck.

What does a similar service" have to do with a particular company? K Mart and Bergdorf Goodman are "similar services" in the sense that they both sell clothing but that's where the similarity stops. You wouldn't refuse to buy clothing in Bergdorf Goodman because the clothing in K Mart was junk, would you?

We used Dial 7 a couple of times and they were on time and reliable. We parked at Newark airport and their fee was a flat fee and with tolls less than $100.

We can't name travel agencies that sell cruises, but pretty much everything else is fair game...car services, taxi companies, airlines...you name it. That's how everyone can keep up on who's doing a good job and who isn't.

We will park at Port Imperial - thanks for the idea - and stay at the DT Suites Times Square.

 

Question - does the shuttle bus for the ferry drop off anywhere near the DT Times Square -1568 Broadway or are we better to just grab a taxi from the ferry terminal?

We are using Ground link on Sunday and have used them in the past as well. We've always been very satisfied with the service. Cars were very clean and the drivers real nice. Service was always on time.
