john watson Posted February 8, 2015 #26 Share Posted February 8, 2015 The convenience of the lanyard as opposed to trouser pockets is why I go that way. As an economy measure borrowing your work lanyard is cheaper if you have one, alternatively obtaining a lanyard pre-cruise is possible. Check out Ebay for "cruise lanyard" or "lanyard" you can even get them with - security - on if you wish or a psychedelic flowery pattern then buy a standard "card holder" in the colour you want. Cheapest here is just ask the retailer on board to punch a hole in your card. Regards John

tjwa Posted February 8, 2015 #43 Share Posted February 8, 2015 (edited) A statement such as "hopefully you are asthmatic" should be deplored. Not yet had answer as to why on earth anyone would wish this on another person. Edited February 8, 2015 by tjwa

GUT2407 Posted February 9, 2015 #45 Share Posted February 9, 2015 If you want a lanyard take it with you, or buy one onboard, they'll punch a hole at the casino or pursers desk. Personally I hate them. As others have said don't wear it in port.
