Paigelyn88 Posted October 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2014 Which is more economical for transportation from Miami Airport to Holiday Inn Port of Miami for two people--Taxi or Airport Shuttle Service?
JohninDC Posted October 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2014 Taxi! On the meter, so traffic will play a minor factor, but figure about $25-27+tip. The ride takes about 15 minutes.
Capt_BJ Posted October 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 7, 2014 (edited) agree taxi is your best bet a taxi is paid per car and a shuttle is per person .... for a short ride like this a shuttle is seldom better cost .... it took me a long time and a lot of dollars to learn this BTW from the MIA ground transportation web page I see that the estimated cost for a taxi to a downtown hotel is $21.70 while SuperShuttle is $15 for the first person and $10 for additional persons to the same location ... aka $25 for 2 {both would expect a tip BTW} http://www.miami-airport.com/hotel_shuttles.asp Edited October 7, 2014 by Capt_BJ
FreestyleNovice Posted October 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2014 Taxi or a good deal on a one way rental for $40 (drop off locations for Sixt and I think Hertz within 3 minutes walking distance of your hotel) if you have plans for the day.
