Interesting article. Thanks for posting the link. So far, the authorities keep kicking the can down the road.

 

Yes, appreciate the posting of this article. It is not really a "news" article, but more of a column from an advocate by a person pushing certain viewpoints. That's fine. Everyone has a right to their opinions. It will be interesting to see if and when Venice and Italy figures out what they are doing. Now, they must look at digging out a bigger, wider channel and how much that will impact the environment. Which area of the "environment" is more important and most deserving "protection"? Lots of debate and questions!!
