The Mommy Posted October 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2014 Good Evening Does anyone know where Celebrity docks at Phuket please? Will it be the beach at Patong? Many thanks
coldweathergirl Posted October 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2014 When we arrived there this spring it was at LAEMCHABANG port. We arranged a private pick up with PT Taxi Service to take us into Pataya where we stayed overnight. Sent from my iPad using Forums

ECCruise Posted October 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 14, 2014 Can we find out before we sail where we will dock? Docks change. Call Celebrity. They may know (may not, too, but they are the authority)

Sent from my iPad using Forums LAEMCHABANG port is several hundred miles from the island of Phuket, which is on the west coast of Thailand. It's a 1-1/2 hour flight. In Phuket you will be tendered off Patong Beach since there aren't any docks large enough for your ship. Edited October 14, 2014 by boogs

boogs Posted October 14, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) Thank you boogs :) You are welcomed. We are on Millennium for the next cruise from Singapore to Hong Kong, so make sure you take good care of her for us. :D We're staying at a beach resort called Thavorn Beach Resort and Village near Patong Beach for two nights a couple of days before the cruise. As it turns out, we'll see your ship anchored out in the bay from our room located on the hill overlooking the bay! Here is a photo taken from the hill above our resort showing a cruise ship anchored in the bay. Wouldn't it be cool if it's Millennium?? Edited October 14, 2014 by boogs

That is where we docked for people going to Bangkok. Thanks for correcting it and pointing it out to the OP. DYKWIA Posted October 18, 2014 #11 Share Posted October 18, 2014 Some lovely beaches in Phuket. Patong is a bit built up, our favourite beach is Nai Harn Beach in the south of the island.
