When we arrived there this spring it was at LAEMCHABANG port. We arranged a private pick up with PT Taxi Service to take us into Pataya where we stayed overnight.

LAEMCHABANG port is several hundred miles from the island of Phuket, which is on the west coast of Thailand. It's a 1-1/2 hour flight.

In Phuket you will be tendered off Patong Beach since there aren't any docks large enough for your ship.

Thank you boogs :)

You are welcomed.

We are on Millennium for the next cruise from Singapore to Hong Kong, so make sure you take good care of her for us. :D

We're staying at a beach resort called Thavorn Beach Resort and Village near Patong Beach for two nights a couple of days before the cruise. As it turns out, we'll see your ship anchored out in the bay from our room located on the hill overlooking the bay! Here is a photo taken from the hill above our resort showing a cruise ship anchored in the bay. Wouldn't it be cool if it's Millennium??

So sorry. You're absolutely correct. That is where we docked for people going to Bangkok.

Thanks for correcting it and pointing it out to the OP.

We are looking for a nice all inc hotel on the beach for our day in Phuket - I will check out your hotel to see if they admit day guests - you never know we may meet in the beach bar whilst you take another photograph - this time it will be Millennium Lol:)
