Insurance?

Recommended Posts

When getting a quote on line they ask the amount of the cruise. Do you just put the cost less port fee tax's and pre paid gratuities. Those would all be refunded by the cruise line if you cancel correct.

 

If the cruise cost $700 plus $150 port fees and $84 in gratuities = $934

Would you only insure the $700?

Only the non refundable costs.

Then again, there probably won't be a price difference from $700 to $940. Not until you hit the $1000 price point.

 

Caveat

Some policies require you to cover the "entire" cost of the trip if including Pre-Existing Conditions coverage and/or Cancel For Any Reason coverage.
