Bases5 Posted October 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2014 When getting a quote on line they ask the amount of the cruise. Do you just put the cost less port fee tax's and pre paid gratuities. Those would all be refunded by the cruise line if you cancel correct. If the cruise cost $700 plus $150 port fees and $84 in gratuities = $934 Would you only insure the $700? klfrodo Posted October 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2014 Only the non refundable costs. Then again, there probably won't be a price difference from $700 to $940. Not until you hit the $1000 price point. Caveat Some policies require you to cover the "entire" cost of the trip if including Pre-Existing Conditions coverage and/or Cancel For Any Reason coverage. Bases5 Posted October 15, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted October 15, 2014 The $700 was just a example I wonder why they want the whole cost when they are not going to re pay you those cost
