winddawn Posted October 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2014 If you could receive a couple things from the Carnival Fun Shops, which are purchased online pre-cruise, what would those items be for your next Carnival cruise? http://www.carnival.com/funShops/ I've noticed that Carnival has really expanded their offerings in the pre-cruise Fun Shops in the last year or so. Even though I've cruised Carnival for years, I'm really enjoying their new offerings. I always like to preorder a few large bottles of water pre-cruise, but beyond that my favorites are red roses and Spumante sparking wine. What are your favorites? What would make your day while you're cruising Carnival?
CruizinMama1026 Posted October 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2014 We ordered a bottle of Skyy Vodka! Other than that, we don't really order anything else through the Fun Shops.
jmcancruise Posted October 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2014 We love to pick up a treat or two, like strawberries or fruit basket. We also previous our bottomless bubbles.
winddawn Posted October 23, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted October 23, 2014 I guess I pass on most of the "previous" since I purchase Cheers as soon as I board the ship. But I do enjoy my sparkling wine early on to get my celebration off on the right foot. We all have our own way of getting our celebration started though! Isn't that what vacation is all about? :-) :-) It is fun to splurge some on vacation after working as hard as we do. Right??
serene56 Posted October 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2014 We love to pick up a treat or two, like strawberries or fruit basket. We also previous our bottomless bubbles. I prefer to stop at the "cafe" and get my strawberries there-- For some reason its cheaper $4 for 5.00 can you buy the soda card online?
CruizinMama1026 Posted October 24, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 24, 2014 No you can't purchase the soda card or Cheers online. You can purchase it as soon as you board the ship.

I am not holding my breath. we did buy alcohol before but are buying cheers this time so no need.

HollandAvery Posted October 25, 2014 #11 Share Posted October 25, 2014 A Chocolate delight and a bottle of Moscato would be a nice surprise for my SO (: We are bringing our own Moscato on the ship though, so maybe I'll just order the chocolate delight (:
Ehpride Posted October 25, 2014 #12 Share Posted October 25, 2014 We always order a chocolate cake to be in our cabin. It becomes breakfast a couple of times! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
kycruiser87 Posted October 25, 2014 #13 Share Posted October 25, 2014 My parents are cruising today, and I ordered them a bottle of Spumante, and a fruit&cheese tray to be delivered tonight. I know they could easily go upstairs to get cheese and fruits, but I wanted them to not have to work for it. ;) Hopefully they enjoy it.
Rh2458 Posted October 25, 2014 #14 Share Posted October 25, 2014 I just ordered the cooler with 4 beers, koozies, etc. and I had to agree the beers will only be consumed in the cabin. They sell bottles of beer all over the ship. Will they really know if hubby carries one out to the pool deck? I am a rule follower (he not so much, if at all!) and I don't want to start from minute one being aggravated if he wants to walk out with one. christyran1228 Posted October 25, 2014 #15 Share Posted October 25, 2014 I was just about to order a case of water. I know it's way pricier, but i want to bring soda and wine, too. [emoji4]
Cruisin' Again 86 Posted October 25, 2014 #16 Share Posted October 25, 2014 Is it ok to each carry a 12 pack of Coke onboard ??
Rh2458 Posted October 25, 2014 #17 Share Posted October 25, 2014 On embarkation day, each guest may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages on board and only in their carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 bottles and/or cans, 20 ounces each or less.
marshhawk Posted October 25, 2014 #18 Share Posted October 25, 2014 We are flying down to JAX and I ordered a water package. I hate the water on the ship. and since I have to take my meds, it makes sense. What I would love to order is the Christmas Ornament and the rainbow sweatshirt. I did order some Cruise Cash too.:D

OnePsychLynne Posted October 26, 2014 #21 Share Posted October 26, 2014 The hoodie, shirts, totes. Carnival branded items that ironically I can't seem to find in the Fun Shops onboard :/ Sent from my Galaxy S4. Typos inevitable.
lbow2006 Posted October 27, 2014 #22 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Is the case of water actually Nestle water as pics show? That's the kind we drink and traveling with a toddler just may make it worth the extra $17.50 to buy it through Carnival if it is, lol.
EdmundXXIII Posted October 27, 2014 #23 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Last cruise I got the Christmas ornament and a small Sushi platter. The ornament is cute. I'm looking forward to hanging it on the tree. The Sushi was pretty awful. Really the only terrible food I've ever had on Carnival.
