Victory - Breakfast in MDR

Say it aint so!!

I just saw a review indicating that Breakfast is not served in the MDR each day of the cruise. Can anyone confirm or deny that info?

I am traveling with my Dad and he insists on having the morning meal in the MDR. He has some issues with mobility and balance and certainly navigating a buffet would not be as easy or pleasing for him. This could mean changing ships and cruise lines.

Thanks

yes and no.

typically, they serve 'breakfast' in the MDR on port days. on sea days, they serve 'brunch' instead, with options varying from the standard type breakfast staples (and a few new ones like steak and eggs, huevos rancheros) to lunch fare.

so you can still have your 'first meal' in the dining room, but it may be called breakfast or brunch :)

I try to have breakfast in the dining room every morning including on Disembarkation day. Usually breakfast is 7 to 9 on port days and sea day brunch is 8:30 to 1 pm each sea day.

sea days 8.30 - 1pm yes.

port days 7.30 - 9.30 by standard, depending upon port schedules.
