What is your favorite thing about Regatta?

We will be cruising on Oceania for the first time on the Regatta in April 2015. What is your favorite thing about the ship, food, etc? Tell me about the afternoon tea and any thing that we must not miss. Thanks for all the help and good ideas in advance.

The beauty of the main dining room, the gorgeous tray ceiling and overall color scheme. And I love all the O poolside areas at night, they are beautifully lit and classy.

I cannot think of much to complain about.

I especially love Regatta because of the quiet early mornings at the very fore of Horizons, with a cappuccino and a pastry, and a view of the sunrise over the bow of the ship.

 

We also love Regatta's small size, which allows one to meet and get to know others more easily, both passengers and crew.

 

I agree with Jan, I can't think of a single thing I dislike about Regatta (well, maybe only that I'm not aboard right now, but who's fault is that?)

Are gluten free items available for afternoon tea?

 

There are usually candy-like creations which appear to be flour-less, but if your restriction is a serious one, I'd suggest contacting special services in advance of your cruise, so that you may be sure that a selection will be offered.

 

We've had friends with Celiac do this numerous times for meals, and Oceania handles it beautifully, but going to the Tea was never something that attracted them.
