Regal Princess-Do you use quarters in the laundry machines ?

I have cruised Princess many times and always bring extra quarters with me for the laundry. Next week I will be on the Regal inaugurals b2b and want to know if they do it the same way. If not, what is their procedure ?

Swipe your cruise card to get a token.

They have token machines in the laundry rooms. The washers, dryers and soap dispensers accept the tokens. All you have to do is swipe your room card.:D

Is the swipe your card and get change true for older Princess ships (i.e. the Crown), or just the Royal/Regal?

It seems they are updating the ships to use the new token system, another post today reports that CB is now tokens.

so the answer is 'it could be either' !!

As of a couple of months ago, the Golden Princess was still using quarters. If there is a change it will probably be gradual across the fleet.
