Robert Mondavi isn't drinkable?

I think the house wine was a very low end Beringer , I also think the low end of Mondavi is just so-so, of course both those companies have some excellent wines on the higher end. Sandals has some excellent scotch and cognac but not wines. They also was selling Stag Leap Merlot for 95 and I can buy that for 25, I think that is a rip-off for a A/I

I will bring Stags Leap or Silverado cabernet, both are excellent wines, ( also will bring a few to Sandals even though they give you wine, its not that drinkable)

We had some Martin Ray Stag's Leap Cab we got at Total Wine just last week and it was excellent.:D

Don't tell me the Caymus 40th is terrible because I bought three bottles of if to put in the cellar...

We usually have two cabins so four bottles of wine. I typically bring two bottles of Champagne a Bordeaux and a Brunello.

Even though the Caymus 40th is $20 less a bottle, compared to Caymus's other bottles, we also did not like the 40th at all . For some reason 2012 in general was a very good year for Napa and Sonoma wines but not for the Caymus 40th. You may like it and have a different palate. than us.

We had a blind tasting wine party last week, each couple brought over a bottle of wine. Brands we tasted were Cakebread, Caymus (40th & Special Selection), Insignia and Quantum. Now Quantum was given to us during the NYC DD revealing. Guess what wine everyone liked the best? The Caymus lovers thought they knew their wine, they did not. Quantum was the winner and everyone's favorite wine.

Just had a bottle of 40th two weeks ago on Enchantment courtesy of casino :D

It wasn't that bad ... But then again free wine usually isn't :)

We like to bring bottles from our previous cruise such as Brunello di Montalcino "Baroncini" for our Caribbean cruise or a Croatian wine. We sit on the balcony in the afternoon with a cheese plate and reminisce about our previous cruise while we count our blessings that we are able to cruise. Life is good!
