MSN-Travelers Posted October 31, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 31, 2014 There was a lot of great info given about Puerto Vallarta, but what about Cabo San Lucas? I have read reports that resort hotel guests were complaining that the pool facilities were overrun with cruise ship day pass holders. They couldn't find any loungers. I believe most, if not all, resorts in the immediate Cabo area have discontinued selling day passes in an effort to keep their regular guests happy. CWcruisers Posted October 31, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 31, 2014 Also, some of the resorts in Cabo are still in the repair process from the hurricane so I think it could be difficult to find day passes. You might check the Wyndam and see if they offer anything.

gtaylor Posted November 2, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 2, 2014 I have cruised the Mexican Riviera many times and never found a resort in Cabo that allows day passes. I posted this here nearly three years ago: We asked at the Wyndham (formerly Tesoro) right there at the Marina, and were told they offered day passes with breakfast, lunch, open bar until 6:00 and full use of their facilities for $49 pp. I understood that WiFi was an additional $5. The pool is scheduled for work the first week of January. p.s. Watch out for the (not a) timeshare salespeople. Had to navigate past four of them to get to the front desk. Note that the Wyndham lobby is across the alley, not in the original Tesoro location, if you've been there before. gary
RC Dancers Posted November 11, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 11, 2014 We booked the luxury all inclusive day pass through Carnival last year. The took us to the El Dorado hotel on Medano Beach. There was a common room to use for people on the excursion and lunch was provided. I think it was $70 per person. We enjoyed the day. You could check the Nikki Beach restaurant on the Melia property. I think they rent out the Day Beds for a pretty low cost.
