funkygran Posted November 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2014 We enjoy wines from these areas. Will they be offered on cruises originating in Australia? Also, is NZ lamb served for dinner. Looking forward to our cruise in February!
CruiserBruce Posted November 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2014 What cruise line? Best to ask on the board for that cruise line.

Looking forward to our cruise in February! I don't know what cruiseline you will be cruising with. Princess has Australian wines, but I am not sure if they have NZ wine. They serve lamb at least a couple of times - once as lamb shanks and on another occasion as roast lamb.
aycee Posted November 2, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2014 Diamond Princess had a nice NZ Sav Blanc in January - think it was called Nobilo or something like that. They don't have a big range of Aust or NZ wine but a small selection. Italian Pinot Grigio is good !!
funkygran Posted November 2, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted November 2, 2014 We are on the Sun Princess back to back cruises to NZ and South Pacific in February. My husband's favorite meal is lamb chops which have only been available only at the Crown Grill the last couple of cruises!

My husband's favorite meal is lamb chops which have only been available only at the Crown Grill the last couple of cruises! That makes the question MUCH easier. As a Australia based cruise ship, I am sure there will be local wines, and a much better chance of lamb.
