DYKWIA Posted November 9, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2014 Hi, We were on the Eclipse this year and didn't have a drinks package but may consider it in the future. We noticed this year that drinks prices on the Eclipse appeared to be a bit higher (in some cases quite a bit higher) than the examples listed for Celebrity cruises elsewhere. I'm guessing this is to allow for the fact that Celebrity include a 15% service charge within the price on Eclipse Southampton based cruises. When purchasing a beverage package are the price limits within the package for wine, beer cocktails etc raised accordingly to take account of the higher prices- I can't find any reference to a different limit? If it's the same limit I would have thought there would be considerably less choice available in each category.
jelayne Posted November 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Yes the prices on the Eclipse are adjusted to reflect the 15% and the beverage package limits were also adjusted.
