I just got off the phone with a friend of mine who turned VIP about 3 months ago, in the middle of one of her cruises. She said she was given 20,000 bonus points which did not actually go onto her account until her next cruise.

 

I should have checked with her before stating what I was given over a year ago. I guess they changed things a bit.

 

Still, you'll eventually have $200.00 to spend in that spa!

Let's see. On my last cruise, I figure each free beer cost me about $38 a piece. So, that $200 free spa should cost me about $1,000.

We aren't high rollers but we run a few thousand through the machines during the week (sometimes we take home more, sometimes less than we came with) and they offered us a free OV room on our January getaway cruise. We paid to upgrade to an aft balcony. Last time we only got 20% off on the pearl. I have no clue how they figure it out. Now I have a certificate from a land based casino and will have to see if that or CAS gives us a better deal for our next cruise when we get home.
