Quick Review and thoughts

Hubby and I love to cruise, we were looking for some true R&R with a chaser of Fun!

Pre Cruise

We stayed Pre Cruise at Best Western Dania Beach, free airport shuttle, breakfast, a few dining options within walking distance, also a shopping center for any last minute incidentals. Would stay again.

Embarkation

We took a cab in the morning around 11($20 with tip) no lines got Zone 5, we boarded around 12:15. No lines at Mongolian Wok so we ate there, grabbed a DOD and started vacation. Then went to see if room was open

Cabin

Deck 10 forward 1018 Balcony, I had taken a chance and took a Guarantee, I felt we scored a great room. We got our work-out used the stairs alot! 100+ for dinner on deck three. Burn the calories for that Choc-Melting Cake!!! Shower and sink we not draining properly told Pi was fixed before we returned to our room.

Service

We had great service, From checkin to Debarkation. No complaints

Food

We really cant complain, We never went hungry some meals were better then others. Guys Burgers Yum! Burritos nice option. I didnt have to cook so I loved it!!!

Entertainment

We checked out a few shows not as horrible as some have said, the performers work hard so hats off the them. LOVE the piano bar!! Jason is great fun and definitely works the crowd. Zoe at the Red Frog( our fav hang out) also was enjoyable. We chatted with her a few nights.

Ports

We only got off the ship in Cozumel we did the Cozumel Bar Hop. Great fun

(will review on Ports of Call)

Misc

We tried to spend time in all areas of the ship and pretty much succeeded, Like i said R&R

We loved the staff at Red Frog Pub say hi to Webster!! Oh and the Thirsty Frog Beer.

We had a great trip and wouldnt hesitate to take this ship again.

Any questions feel free to ask Ill check back

We were on the same sailing. I definitely agree with your thoughts on Jason in the Piano Bar and Zoe in the Red Frog Pub.

I was on the next Freedom cruise, Nov 15th. I also thoroughly enjoyed, and was amazed that the entire crew seemed to be such a happy bunch. I had the best room steward ever (Angel) and did Your time dining, and was fortunate to get the same great wait staff every night. I think that management does a great job on this ship and it shows in every single employee that I encountered. Even Jen the CD commented at the past guest party, that down in crew's quarters the employees are allowed to be grumpy, but even among themselves they were all a happy and contented crew. I too would book this ship again in a heartbeat (would be a third time same ship), but I doubt that I would be travelling to Texas to do so...too far. I love the Freedom:)

I board her Saturday. Must say that having been on the 11/1 Splendor repo, and having read great things about her, I was a little disappointed. There was nothing really "wrong" but the crew and staff just seemed rather uninterested. That's something I'm not used to seeing on Carnival ships.

Food was pretty good but service was not.

Looking forward to my first Premier Casino cruise, Guy's Burgers, Fish & Chips, and plan on finally paying a visit to the Alchemy Bar. :D
