Do they show any movies on the Oasis Aqua Theater screens?

I was under the impression that they showed some movies on the Aqua theater screens when the venue wasn't being used but I just read that they don't show any on the Oasis.

 

Is that right? If so is there anywhere they show movies?

Yes they do play movies on there a few times only at night from what i remember

That is what I remember as well. On at least two cruises they showed Grease.

I've seen them playing movies and concerts in the afternoon time as well. While I sail both Allure and Oasis, I have not noticed any difference in their use of the Aqua Theater screens. Maybe I have not been paying close enough attention.

They Showed Maleficent in 3D in the Amber Theater on the Allure. I did watch football in the Aqua Theater though. I know it is not the Oasis, but I would imagine they might have the same format.

I was on The Oasis last week and I did not go see any movies, and I did not see any on the Aqua Theater Screen the times we went by. They did have Fountain Shows at night. I checked my Cruise Compasses and it shows Family Movies every night at around 5:00 at The Adventure Theater on Deck 14. Also it had different movies every night, Cars2, Monsters Inc, etc. They also had a 3D movie listed for The Opal Theater on one night.

Thanks for all the replies. I thought they had movies but after reading the other post I was confused.

 

From what i am reading we won't have much time to be watching movies anyway but it's a nice distraction to have.

They show movies in the Amber Theater later in the week. Last week we saw Godzilla in 3D around 10:30pm.

When I was working as Aqua light technician on Oasis (the person who runs the fountain shows) there were many nights where movies were offered in the Aquatheater (every evening where Oasis of Dreams is not presented). I know because many times I had to wait for those movies to end before I could begin the fountain shows.
